To be politically correct it was Spring Eggstravaganza with the Spring Bunny. hehe Cracks me up. Anyway, they had activities set up and prizes for the kids. The kids had fun and it was free for members!
Oh, I really wanted to find an Easter bunny this year to take the kids to visit, but alas, Easter came and went. I did however try to have a cute family home evening lesson with the kids about the real meaning behind the Easter season. I began by saying "Does anyone know what Easters about?" And, I got answers like playing with family, eating chocolate and the EAster bunny! I explained that those were all part of Easter and went on to explain about the Savior, his love for us, yada yada yada. I felt all good about myself, until, later when I asked again what it was all about, and was met again with excitment "Candy, Easter Bunny, Egg Hunt!" Oh, well! At least we had fun. :)
OK, I finally gave in and created a blog for all of our out of town family and friends to keep track of us. I hope it is enjoyed by all. Cherish your family and friends.
I work as a preschool director and am loving every minute of it. I have school breaks and Summers off with my children, that is the most important part. I am married to an amazing man who supports everything we do. We all are very close and love our friends and family.
